19758 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: Does the Minister agree, in full, with Christopher Luxon, while in opposition, commitment to not sell State Owned Assets?

Hon Nicola Willis: While I have no Ministerial responsibility for comments made by the then-Leader of the Opposition before the election, the Government’s priorities are implementing the commitments outlined in coalition agreements and the Speech from the Throne, and this does not include the sale of shares the Crown owns in Crown Entity companies, State Owned Enterprises or Mixed Ownership Model companies.
