19727 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Does the Minister intend to propose amendments to the Natural Environment and Planning Bills in response to recommendations from the Environment Select Committee when they are reported back on the proposed legislation in June?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Government plans to pass the Planning Bill and the Natural Environment Bill during this term. I look forward to receiving the Committee's recommendations on these Bills. At this stage, I cannot confirm if there will be any further amendments until the Government has reviewed the Bills after they are reported back.
