19709 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Education: Has the Minister provided a written response to the Waitangi Tribunal's letter calling for an immediate halt to changes to education legislation affecting Te Tiriti o Waitangi, if so, on what date?

Hon Erica Stanford: No. The Government has not considered the Waitangi Tribunal’s report Hūtia te Rito o te Harakeke, kei Hea te Kōmako e Kō? The Interim Stage One Report of the Education and Training Amendment Act and Te Mātaiaho Urgent Inquiry published on 15 May 2026. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 19710 (2026).
