19687 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide-memoires, risk-registers, or any other documents, if any, has the Prime Minister or any member of their Office received during the week of 20 May 2024, by title and date?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents between 20—24 May 2024 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): • Prime Minister’s Weekly report, 22 May 2024 • King’s Birthday 2024 Honours List (KB2024): Oral item for Cabinet, 24 May 2024 • Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet: Draft responses to the Estimates Examination Pre-Hearing Questionnaire 2024/25, 24 May 2024. In addition, jointly with the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I have received the following documents: • Partial Guest of Government: Minister of Disaster Management, Fiji, 20 May 2024 • North Island Weather Events: Progress Update on Categorisation and Buyouts, Sediment and Debris, 23 May 2024. I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
