Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to Replies 17371 and 18702 (2026): (a) what was the specific administrative error that resulted in the November 2025 fraudulent overseas licence conversion being processed after the date NZTA had stated the vulnerability was closed; (b) was the Driver Licensing Agent responsible for that error subject to any consequence, sanction, formal feedback, remediation, or contractual review; (c) how many of the 461 fraudulent conversions are attributable, in whole or in part, to administrative errors by NZTA staff or Driver Licensing Agents in following the business rules in the NZTA Agent Portal?

Hon Chris Bishop: I refer the Member to my replies to Written Questions 18701 and 18702 (2026). One of the 461 fraudulent conversions was the result of an administration error by a Driver Licensing Agent. This was a single conversion that occurred in November 2025.
