Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that Oranga Tamariki has sought proposals from national and regional providers to deliver programming to one or more of the secure Care and Protection and Youth Justice Residences in the following areas: • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) • Arts (visual arts, music, drama) • Literacy (reading, writing, communication) • Numeracy (mathematics, practical maths) • Physical education and sports • Cultural education (identity, whakapapa, Te Ao Māori) • Life skills (first aid, CV preparation, financial literacy) • Therapeutic programmes (emotional regulation, trauma-informed practice, wellbeing) • Vocational training (practical skills, pathways to employment)
