19665 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 18747 (2026), how will the ongoing clinical care in the community for the participants of the second pilot Oranga Tamariki Military-Style Academy be delivered?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that the Military-Style Academy Clinical team has been expanded in size compared to the Pilot, in recognition of both in-residence and in-community planned programme delivery. I am further advised that delivery during the in-community phase will comprise a combination of group sessions and 1:1 clinical sessions. Members of the Clinical team will deliver sessions in person where practical, or via video calls. The clinical team will continue to work with the young people throughout the in-community phase to offer ongoing clinical care, based on individual needs and preferences.
