19664 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Will there be an evaluation of the nationwide roll out of the Tacitical Response Model?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that in 2022 the Evidence Based Policing Centre (EBPC) carried out a comprehensive evaluation of the five proof of concept districts for the Tactical Response Model (TRM), concluding in November 2022. This provided the evidence that TRM was an effective system across the quantitative and qualitative measures and the decision was made to implement this nationally, which was completed in October 2023. The EBPC has already begun the next evaluation, focussed on the national implementation and will likely be completed and available by August 2024.
