19634 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: How will the success of the Fast Track programme be measured, by indicator, time period, and source of data?

Hon Karen Chhour: The success of Fast Track is monitored regularly based on the number of children and young people who go through the programme, those that are apprehended by Police and then re-referred to the programme. I am advised that Oranga Tamariki will undertake an impact evaluation of the Fast Track programme once enough children and young people have been through the programme to reliably evaluate.
