Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister for Energy: Did the government process and fund the 27 submitted GIDI Industrial and GIDI Commercial Buildings applications received prior to 14 October, and if not what is the increase in additional emissions by 2025, 2030 and 2035 respectively from the government's decision not to process and fund the 27 projects that his officials advised him of on the 8 December 2023?

Hon Simeon Brown: The Government did not process and fund the 27 GIDI applications received prior to 14 October. As the applications were not processed and funded, no assessment of emissions impact by Emissions Budget period was completed.
