19572 (2024). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: Are the 1,500 new social houses provided through Community Housing Providers from July 2025 in addition to or included in the number of Income-Related Rents (IRRS) places already forecasted by Treasury?

Hon Chris Bishop: The 1,500 new social houses provided are in addition to the number of IRRS places forecasted by Treasury as part of the half yearly economic fiscal update (HYEFU). The investment in social housing has been funded through closing the First Home Grant scheme.
