Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Growth: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 28 April with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles are affected?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that on the week beginning 28 April 2025, the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment commenced consultation within its Building, Resources and Markets business group where 16 roles (including vacancies) are proposed to be disestablished, and 18 new roles are proposed to be established. With regard to New Zealand Growth Capital Partners, I am advised that NZGCP have not commenced any consultations in the week beginning 28 April 2025.
