19539 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Universities: Further to the Minister's reply to Written Parliamentary Question 18308, how many, if any, universities have requested permission from the TEC to exceed 105% of their funding allocation?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I’m advised by the TEC that as at 30 April 2025, five universities had requested permission from the TEC to exceed 105% of their total funding allocation for level 7+ (degrees and above) and two universities have requested permission to exceed 105% of its funding at Levels 3-7 of the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) only.
