19536 (2024). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What low value expenditure, if any, will he choose to scrap to fund the Prime Minister's commitment on Tuesday, 21 May 2024 to build 1,000 additional social houses in Auckland each year?

Hon Chris Bishop: The First Home Grant will be discontinued, and the savings from this will be used to fund 1,500 new social housing places, delivered by Community Housing Providers.
