19523 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: In each of the last 6 quarters to March 2025, how many (and what percentage), if any, of young offenders (aged 18-25) were referred to rehabilitation programmes by prison and programme type?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that due to the complexity of the data set and variations in an individual’s location over each three month period, the member’s question cannot be answered as it is currently framed without substantial collation and manual analysis, which I am not prepared to ask of my officials for the purposes of this response.
