19510 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: How much of the $900,000 allocated across 2023–2026 for post-release housing for women has been spent as of 31 March 2025?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that funding from the 2023 Homelessness Action Plan has been allocated to support post-release accommodation in the Waikato region. This service offers reintegration support for women leaving prison, including housing, education, employment assistance, and whānau reconnection. I am further advised that $370,412 of the allocated $900,000 has been spent for services provided from 1 January 2024 to 31 March 2025.
