19505 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Justice: Does the Minister agree with the recommendations of the report into the firearms registry, if not, why not?

Hon Nicole McKee: In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 199/6, I do not consider it in the public interest to discuss any recommendations the report may contain prior to its public release, as doing so could prejudice the orderly and effective conduct of Government decision-making processes.
