19433 (2026). Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for the Environment: As a "Policy Lead" for the development of changes to the NPS for Freshwater Management and NES for Freshwater (as per the 'Ministerial Grouping for Delegated Decisions on National Direction Package') , what correspondence and consultation did the Associate Minister undertake with the Minister for the Environment, who was only a "Consulted Minister" in the process?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: A number of Ministers have been consulted in the course of making decisions on changes to the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management and National Environmental Standards for Freshwater. This included consulting the Minister for the Environment who had been provided copies of relevant advice.
