19314 (2025). Benjamin Doyle to the Associate Minister of Education: What advice, reports, briefings or data, if any, has the Minister or their office received that details prospective ECE service providers encountering costly set up problems when attempting to enter the market?

Hon David Seymour: Titles of all advice that I have received has been, or will be, proactively released on the Ministry of Education website. https://www.education.govt.nz/our-work/information-releases/ My office receives a large amount of material every week. Asking them to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles. I do not consider this to be in the public interest.
