19301 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Finance: On what basis does that Natural Hazards Commission state that it may "partly accept a claim" when acting pursuant to s 77 of the Natural Hazards Insurance Act 2023?

Hon David Seymour: Section 67(1) of the Natural Hazards Insurance Act 2023 provides the basis for the Natural Hazards Commission to decline a claim (in whole or part), if it is satisfied that grounds to do so exist under sections 68 to 77 of the NHI Act.
