19296 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What services, if any, did the Oranga Tamariki Permanent Caregiver Support Service fund as of 1 June 2024?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that the Permanent Caregiver Support Service (PCSS), administered on behalf of Oranga Tamariki by Turuki Health Care Limited, funds a wide range of supports for caregivers and children following the establishment of permanent custody arrangements for children formerly in the custody of the state. The supports include funding for specific legal costs, supplementary financial assistance, facilitation of access to social and health services and aid in accessing entitlements from Work and Income, accessing resources for learning, and specialist advice, amongst other things. I am also advised that this range of services has not changed since 1 June 2024.
