19282 (2025). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: What is the process and timeline for the second Mount Victoria Tunnel and SH1 improvements in Wellington once the investment case has gone to the New Zealand Transport Agency Board; will it return to Cabinet for a funding decision, and at what point will it advance to Fast Track consent application?

Hon Chris Bishop: Once the NZTA Board has approved the Investment Case, the project will move into the consent design and development process before consent lodgement occurs. I am advised that NZTA cannot confirm timeframes for these processes at this stage.
