19276 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education

Written Question

19276 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: Do any Full-Time Employees work in any capacity on Kāhui Ako at the Ministry of Education; if any, what are their roles and functions?
Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) as of 28 April 2025, there are 12 roles across the Ministry that work on Kāhui Ako in some capacity. Of those roles, 11 are ‘Lead Advisor, Schooling’ positions and are regionally based and one is a centrally based ‘Lead Advisor’ position. None of the 12 roles work full time on Kāhui Ako, so the Ministry is unable to provide an exact Full-Time Equivalent (FTE). The Lead Advisor role is the point person for regional offices, supporting queries around resourcing, employment relations, achievement challenge publishing, and Kāhui Ako membership. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 19275 (2025).
