19230 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Police: How many extra Police officers on the beat have been recorded since the policy announcement on 30 May 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the Member to Police's published data website. Under "Demand and Activity">Trends, she will note that from 31 May 2024 to 31 March 2025, there were 52.4% more foot patrols nationwide than the same period in the previous year. I am sure the Member will be pleased that that included 77% more in the Wellington district.
