19174 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Finance: How many Community Housing Providers, if any, have accessed the loan guarantee scheme since it was established?

Hon Nicola Willis: A total of eight Supported Loans have been provided under the Scheme by three Approved Lenders as of 31 March 2026. I am advised the names of Borrowers (i.e., those who have taken out a Supported Loan) are not provided to Treasury in the periodic reporting. As this is a delegated scheme whereby the Approved Lenders make all lending decisions, the Crown will only receive reporting from Approved Lenders in relation to the number of Supported Loans issued. For confidentiality reasons, individual Borrower names are not disclosed to the Crown by the Approved Lenders.
