19147 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Racing: What reports or advice, if any, has he received from TAB NZ or its advisory committees regarding the financial sustainability of the racing industry since taking office as Minister for Racing, listed by title and date?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: We have received the TAB NZ advisory committee report on the financial sustainability of the racing industry, which is the primary overarching report provided to me on this matter. We have also received correspondence from TAB NZ in the early period of my tenure outlining financial pressures facing the industry, including losses to offshore operators and the case for an online betting monopoly.
