19133 (2026). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Tertiary Education: How many enrolments, if any, were not funded by the TEC at Te Pukenga/New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology in 2025, listed by business division and number of EFTS not funded?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) funds the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (NZIST), and not individual business divisions. I am advised by the TEC that an estimated 62 EFTS of degree-level provision delivered by NZIST in 2025 was not funded.
