18982 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How will the members of the 6 new regional lottery grant committees be appointed, when will they be appointed and by whom?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The members of the regional lottery distribution committees will be appointed by the Minister of Internal Affairs. Expressions of interest are being sought from current members of lottery distribution committees, with the intention of making appointments in July 2026. Any roles not able to be filled through this process will be filled through a call for nomination process at a later date.
