18944 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Transport: What are the expected timeframes for decision-making, and delivery of short to medium term safety and intersection improvements in Mosgiel, if any?

Hon Chris Bishop: The SH1/87 Optimisation Improvement project investment case is expected to be completed by October this year. Any future phases will be subject to prioritisation in the State Highway Investment Proposal and Regional Land Transport Plan, and inclusion in the National Land Transport Programme.
