Hon Chris Bishop: I have received the following briefings relating to the forecast Total Mobility funding shortfall of $236 million over the period 2025-2030 and the decisions to use Crown savings from the Total Mobility funding changes to reduce public transport authorities’ shortfall: • Funding sustainability for the Community Connect programme and the SuperGold card public transport concessions scheme, dated 16 April 2025, Ministry of Transport • Total Mobility – Discussion points for meeting with Minister of Disability Issues, dated 15 May 2025, Ministry of Transport • Total Mobility – Options to stabilise cost pressure, dated 16 July 2025, Ministry of Transport • Total Mobility – Additional options to manage cost pressures, dated 4 September 2025, Ministry of Transport • Draft Cabinet Paper – Total Mobility: Stabilising cost pressures and approval to undertake public consultation, dated 10 October 2025, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Disabled People I also received an update on disbursing the funds as part of the Transport Portfolio Weekly Report, dated 28 April 2026, from the Ministry of Transport. I have not received any documents from NZTA.
