18777 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Associate Minister of Police: Will recruits training at the new Police training base in Auckland be required to travel to the Royal New Zealand Police College at any point during their training, if so, what will recruits be required to travel for?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that Police is still undertaking planning for the delivery of initial recruit training in Auckland and no decisions have yet been made on staff numbers, the annual number or size of wings, or whether travel will be required outside of the new facility.
