18749 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What vacant land, if any, is Kāinga Ora planning to sell in Whanganui in the next 12 months?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that one site is currently confirmed to be sold in Whanganui in the next 12 months. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it had not built any homes in Whanganui since 1 July 2025. There are currently seven homes under construction and scheduled for completion by 30 June 2026.
