18747 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 5259 (2026), how is the second Oranga Tamariki Military-Style Academy designed to continue consistent therapeutic support once participants are in the community?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that the transition planning for each young person will include an assessment by the clinical team of what therapeutic care is required in the community. The Military-Style Academy clinical team will then provide ongoing clinical care in the community, building on the content delivered during the residential phase.
