Benjamin Doyle to the Minister of Health: Was the Minister consulted on and does he agree with the directive of the Associate Minister for Health, Hon Costello, that Te Whatu Ora Health NZ use the term "women" when referring to "pregnant people" in communications to their office and that "Only women and people of the female sex can get pregnant and birth a child no matter how they identify."?

Hon Simeon Brown: Yes, I was consulted and support the directive of the Associate Minister of Health, Hon Casey Costello, that "only women and people of the female sex can get pregnant and birth a child no matter how they identify."
