Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 5241 (2026), what discussions, if any, have Oranga Tamariki Military-Style Academy staff had with the young people participating about potential placements on longer supervision orders or supervision with activity orders after the residential phase of the Military-Style Academy programme?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that as the second Military-Style Academy programme is being run under current legislation, meaning options such as longer supervision orders and supervision with activity orders are not yet possible, no conversations have been had with the young people about this.
