Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 7329 (2025), as of 31 March 2026, how many, if any, vacancies are there at Oranga Tamariki's Korowai Manaaki youth justice facility, listed by role, full-time equivalency, and length of contract (ie: permanent or temporary)?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that vacancies are reported as ‘unfilled positions’ which includes positions under active recruitment, held for staff on secondment to other roles, and staff on extended leave without pay. I am further advised that, as of 31 March 2026, there were 26 unfilled permanent full-time positions at Korowai Manaaki.
