18721 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Further to WPQ 16780, how much, if anything, would it cost the Government for a centralised government-led anti-scam centre?

Cameron Brewer: That would depend on its scope and functions. In 2023, the Australian Government announced it would contribute A$58 million to establish the Australian National Anti-Scam Centre. Our approach has been to protect kiwis by working collaboratively with relevant sectors.
