18544 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 5258 (2026), has the staffing for the second Oranga Tamariki Military-Style Academy pilot changed since the first pilot; if so, how and why?

Hon Karen Chhour: Yes. I am advised that changes to staffing for the effective delivery of the residential phase of the second Military-Style Academy programme include additional frontline operational staff, an additional Case Leader and the addition of Administrative Support Workers.  I am further advised that in the second programme there is an additional Psychologist, working alongside the Manager Clinical Programme who is also a psychologist.
