18540 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Further to WPQ 17194 (2026); How is non-operational fuel use defined?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police does not have a formal definition of “non-operational” fuel use. In practise, the term is generally understood to refer to fuel use associated with activities that are not critical to the delivery of Police’s functions as defined by Section 9 of the Policing Act 2008.
