Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What direct representations, if any, has the Minister of Foreign Affairs made to the South Korean Government regarding the continued supply of refined fuel to New Zealand, and has New Zealand sought any assurance that its term contract volumes will be maintained?
Rt Hon Winston Peters: Officials have been directed to discuss the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on global energy markets with the Government of the Republic of Korea at many levels. New Zealand has sought and received assurances from the Republic of Korea that refined fuel supplies to New Zealand are expected to continue.
