18492 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Health: What work, if any, is planned in the year ahead to improve the Well Child Tamariki Ora programme under Kahu Taurima | Maternity and Early Years programme?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that in the year ahead, work under the Kahu Taurima | Maternity and Early Years programme will continue to focus on strengthening the Well Child Tamariki Ora programme, including finalising the review of the current clinical schedule; incorporating learning from the time limited well child prototypes, and enabling work to support more integrated and consistent delivery of services across maternity and early years.
