Hon Dr Shane Reti: The written advice I received from the Ministry of Education during the week beginning 7 April 2025 is listed below: 08 April 2025: Updated response to Universities New Zealand’s request for greater responsibility for administration of the Code of Pastoral Care Please note some titles have been withheld as they are either sensitive in nature or still under active consideration. It is not in the public interest to release them at this time. This answer does not cover members of my office who receive a large amount of material every week. Asking them to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles, and I don’t consider it in the public interest to do so.
