18258 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: How many, if any, school lunches were not delivered during the week of March 31st 2025, expressed as an overall number?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that, during the week of 31 March 2025, 557,000 meals were delivered to schools from the School Lunch Collective. One school was missed due to late delivery of the meal to the production kitchen. The school was advised and arranged its own meals for that day. Five other schools had partially delivered orders (for reasons such as a new staff member packing, driver error or special meals not received). These matters have been rectified with further training, and changes to onboarding processes by the supplier. Of a total 557,000 meals delivered during the week of 31 March 2025, 99.18 percent of these were delivered on time. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 18259 (2025).
