18184 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Associate Minister of Finance: How many staff from the Productivity Commission declined offers or chose not to transfer to the Ministry for Regulation, if any, and what were the primary reasons cited for their decisions?

Hon David Seymour: There was no provision for New Zealand Productivity Commission staff to be transferred to other positions in the public sector, given the legal structure of the entity (e.g. not being part of the core pubic service), however the Productivity Commission was invited to provide information of staff who wished to seek alternative roles, including with the new Ministry of Regulation.
