Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that between May 2024 and 5 May 2026, the following Police programmes or projects have been paused (put on hold) or disestablished (cancelled): • Dunedin Police Hub Project – cancelled 15 May 2024 • Royal Commission of Inquiry Recommendation 12 – cancelled 11 July 2024 • Real Time Officer Safety Alerts – cancelled 12 September 2024 • Public Order Policing – cancelled 12 September 2024 • Te Au Reka (Ministry of Justice Digitisation) – on hold from 18 August 2025 and restarted on 9 December 2025 • Remote Participation – on hold from 18 August 2025 and restarted on 9 December 2025 • Bushmaster Replacement Project – cancelled 4 November 2025 • Operational Assets – cancelled 4 November 2025. The intent of Public Order Policing, Bushmaster, and Operational Assets continues to be progressed as part of wider programmes of work.
