18116 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: What agreements, memoranda of understanding, or other arrangements, if any, have been entered into with private companies regarding portside infrastructure for Cook Strait ferry services, and on what dates were they signed?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Ferry Holdings is the delivery entity of a complex ferry procurement and infrastructure building project, involving a vast quantity of agreements. It is not possible within the timeframes of a WPQ to provide this level of detail. The Member is welcome to seek such a list of documents from Ferry Holdings under the Official Information Act (OIA). Ferry Holdings will respond in accordance with the provisions of the OIA.
