18111 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, open on the week beginning 7 April with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when are the consultations due to close?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that in the week beginning 7 April 2025, the Ministry of Transport began consultation with employees in the Urban Development and Public Transport team. The consultation period is expected to close on 16 April 2025. I am advised that NZTA commenced a consultation process with its part-time after-hours team in the Contact Centre. This consultation period is expected to close on 30 April 2025.
