Tangi Utikere to the Associate Minister of Transport: Does the all-of-government Data Fusion System contract between the Crown and Starboard Maritime Intelligence contain any provisions relating to ethical standards, corporate values, responsible investment, or environmental, social, and governance obligations; if so, what are those provisions?

Hon James Meager: The contract contains provisions in relation to health and safety, ethics, modern slavery and anti-bribery, and conflicts of interest. The contract requires compliance with the New Zealand Government procurement Supplier Code of conduct.
