Lan Pham to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: What advice, briefings, reports, or other documents, if any, has the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries received from the Ministry for Primary Industries that suggest the current "electronic monitoring equipment" (such as the suite of onboard cameras in the inshore fishing fleet, or any software MPI currently possesses) have the technological capabilities which would allow them to accurately record the abandonment of some of their catch, as proposed under the amendments to Section 72 of the Fisheries Act, via s29 of the Fisheries Amendment Bill?
