18065 (2026). Glen Bennett to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: Which specific actions, if any, in the Tourism Growth Roadmap address long-term funding for regional tourism organisations?

Hon Louise Upston: The Tourism Growth Roadmap sets out how the Government plans to increase the value of tourism exports and drive economic growth across New Zealand. The Roadmap identifies long‑term supply objectives that have been explored through Tourism System Review. One objective is to set up regions and communities to manage and invest in the tourism system and another is for central, local and industry funding to be effectively set up for the future.
